Biologist Nico leads a seven-kilometre walk through the Amsterdamse Bos. Starting at Oude Karselaan, the route passes the Vierwindenbrug and Kleine Vijver before climbing the hill, continuing towards the Grote Vijver and returning to the car park. Nico discusses the area’s history and creation, differences between conifers and deciduous trees, and biodiversity using the animals and plants encountered along the way. Some paths are uneven. Sturdy shoes are recommended.
