Some people call this plant ‘Alocasia Xanthosoma’. It also looks a lot like the Alocasia, but it is unknown whether it is related. You don’t see much of the fresh, green leaves of this “Lime” variety of the Xanthosoma. A real eye-catcher, especially in combination with (dark) green plants.

Care instructions: The Xanthosoma wants to be in a light place, but not in full sun, that can damage the foliage. If the plant is a bit darker, turn it regularly because it will look for the light and otherwise grow crooked. Water regularly, do not let it dry out, but also do not leave the roots in water. The Xanthosoma grows best at room temperature and not too close to the heating. The plant will dry out too quickly if the air is too dry. So spray often, especially in winter!
